Day 1 for the Black and White Photo Challenge!
This week on Facebook I got challenged by my good friend Pol Sena to post five black and white photos on Facebook. But why not on here to?
I have also not been sharing much on my recent trip to Italy that I haven taken a month or two ago. So of the next five days I will be posting black and white versions of photos from Italy.
Funny thing about this picture. I took this on one of my last days in Venice. during this trip I kept trying to decide what I should photograph through the whole visit. Obviously, everything around me was beautiful, but I wanted one thing in common throughout this photos. One of my good friends asked me to be in a show with her and I said yes! The theme was universal and I wanted to incorperate what I have shot here in Italy. I started panicing about what it should be and the end of my stay was near.
Then one day my dad said " No matter where you go in the world, there will be always a pigeon looking at you"
He couldn't have been more right.
As ridiculous as it sounded, I loved it. Italy is FILLED with them.
So I kept looking out for cool opportunities of people interacting with birds. Luckily, I was walking around Piazza San Marco and this guy just started feeding the birds. I felt so lucky!
