Day 4 for the Black and White Challenge!
Picture
"Scala Sancta"
Which translates to: Holy Stairs

While in Rome we started to do a tour to a lot of the churches and holy sites. One of the sites we saw was the Scala Sancta. I don't remember much of what our guide told us about these stairs but all I know is that they brought these stairs all the way from Jerusalem ( in Catholic Traditon its to believed that Jesus walked on these steps during Passion) and people come here from all over the world to say a prayer on each step.
A lot of my family is religious but I am not so much, but even being in a place where a lot of passion and spiritual things happening I have the upmost respect for the people who come to pray and also to think about life.
