My First Cyanotype

Hey guys!
So last week I was able to make my first "offical" cyanotype! I originally made a first one a couple of weeks ago, but it never really came well. I used ortho litho film and it was from a bad negative. So the next go around, I decided to use my only glass plate negative I have of Vince. 15 mins in the sun and BAM! This was the result. I added
hydrogen peroxide later to get the royal blue effect.

I'm sure you guys have noticed that I have used this skull quite a lot in recent work of mine. How could I not? This piece of human bone is amazing to learn from. It also belongs to my friend and mentor, Dave (who is a retired Dentist). I finally asked him the origins of the skull.
"Vince Skulley and I met in 1977.  He originated in India.  Each dental student had to buy a skull to learn anatomy and then later we did root canals on the teeth.  The gold in the front is a gold post and the tooth is prepared for a crown."

Well now you know!
